GIRLS DROPOUT CURE (GDC)

Girls Dropout Cure is a platform with the aim of solving the chronic problem in Tanzania perpetuated with the mix of social,cultural and economic reasons.

Invariably,the girls remains the most affected a factor that has locked out millions of adolescents from completing basic secondarylevel certification.

Inspired by the need to make a difference a vibrant team of form four girls from Kibasila Secondary School in Dar es salaam have joined forces to tackle the challenge head on.

The platform acts as a one-stop filling for profiling cases of abuse at school level connecting the adolescent girls to an array of available services in terms of social welfare and secondary age education with the key players and stakeholders.

MOTTO: Educate a Girl, Educate the world.

MISSION: Creating awareness to the community/society on the problems that a million of girls faces leading to dropout.

VISION: By 2030, to reduce the high rate of iiliterates i.e adolescents up to 60% approximately.

              Providing educational support to adolescent girls to raise the graph of academic perfomance and development in general.
